We serve anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Kennebec County, Lincoln County, or the towns of Richmond and Palermo. Also included are employees of Gardiner Federal Credit Union, and members of their immediate family or household, volunteers in the community, organizations of people, business or other legal entities in Kennebec and Lincoln County and the towns of Richmond and Palermo.

Required Documentation

For a personal account, one of the following forms of unexpired government issued identification is required.  This identification gives evidence of identity and residence and must bear a photograph of the individual.  Note: if the address on the ID is not current, proof of current address is required, such as a utility bill in their name, at that address.

  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • State ID
  • Military ID

Minors, age 0 – 17:  A parent/legal age adult must be placed on the account with the minor.  If the minor has a government issued photo ID bring that along with their Social Security card.  If the minor has no approved picture ID, a Social Security card and birth certificate must be presented.

Corporations, Partnerships & Trusts

In addition to the identification required for the individual(s) who will be listed on the account, documents showing the existence of the entity, such as articles of incorporation, LLC articles of organization and trust agreements are required.
